WOW. I can’t tell you how thrilled I was to photograph Taylor. I first met her when I moved into the neighborhood six years ago and she was the sweetest little kid who always rode her bike around and stopped to pet my dog. Well, when I was taking my dog and my two kids for a walk last week, I saw Taylor getting into her car and my jaw just dropped. I totally didn’t recognize her – she is so grown up (not quite a senior yet though), not to mention downright gorgeous. I was so happy when Taylor told me she wanted me to take her photos. I knew they would turn out good, but I am seriously thrilled with how they turned out. I was so excited when she mentioned she liked to sing and play guitar; I instantly had so many shots in my head. Prepare yourself – I posted a ton on the blog and there are so many that I haven’t even edited yet.
I truly love photographing babies and toddlers, but it was so much fun shooting a teenager. Taylor brought along her friend, Ayaka, and I got some great shots of the two of them together. I forgot how much giggling teenage girls do.
I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I do!
We’ll start off with my favorite from the session. I’m not sure why, but I love everything about this photo.

Ugh. Those eyes. I would seriously kill for lashes like that.

How fun is she?

I really felt old after I looked at this photo on my camera and said “Wow, you look like Alicia Silverstone” and they both said “who???”. Was “Clueless” really that long ago? ![]()

These two reminded me of how much fun I had with my best friend WAY back when I was in High School.
